In 2016, I was playing with my guitar tuner – when I came across an interference at very low frequencies – coming from nowhere. As luck would have it, I was able to adjust my tuner to identify the exact frequencies where this beating, background disturbance stopped.
It was as though the Earth was inviting me, in that moment – guitar tuner in-hand – to measure a precise coincidence – a tear in reality – a glimpse into how the universe is made: a sonic architecture.
Hi I’m Phred Shelbourne. In my teens, I was a sculptor, and was intrigued by the work of Kandinsky and Paul Klee to identify a common language of sound and meaning in relation to colour. When all my sculptures seemed to come to a sticky end, I decided to switch to music.
I had started out playing guitar when I was 5, and have always been drawn to what is sound, how do loudspeakers work, how do we make music – but more recently, to the question of whether there is an optimal way to tune an instrument: You’re writing a song, or performing in a club – how do you communicate directly with your audience, cut out the middle-man and release the natural energy within? Is there a fundamental frequency from which all the other notes in the scale harmonically emanate.
This question was answered for me when I was fortunate in 2016 to stumble across a phenomena which opened the door to what that fundamental vibration would be.
It turned out to be the massive, turning, energetic, electromagnetic vortex we call Earth.
Like many people, I had seen many videos on YouTube about Sacred Geometry, and vibration and 432, the Solfeggio, the Schumann resonance, etc. But none of these information sources was able to provide a fundamental resonance at the root of all of them. There was no coherent harmonic system able to connect the branches back to a common trunk.
I remember watching Jacob Bronowski’s Ascent Of Man series as a child, where he described the musical discoveries of Pythagoras – creating notes, not by fretting a string but simply by touching it at whole-number divisions of its length, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, etc.
It’s most likely why anyone really bothered to work out fractions and times tables, and prime-numbers. It wasn’t to divide birthday cakes!
It’s the prime-number divisions that produce a new note. Everything else is either octaves or harmonics of harmonics. And, incidentally, the most advanced view of physics by Dr. Anirban Bandyopadhyay, now also describes the prime-number propagation of harmonic vibration as fundamental.
For our part, with a simplistic, experiential, naturalistic view, it turns out we’ve discovered specific fractions of spin which reveal profound truths about this Earth – and seemingly how it relates to the principles of vortexes forming from the quantum vacuum.
So, the advice is: follow your experience – even it’s listening to tones officially too low to hear, even if conventional advice says it’s stupid. But also collaborate and share your learning with others.
And we are open to new collaboration: how can we share what we have discovered with others working with frequency and energy to optimise the effectiveness of their work – in consciousness and wellbeing?

- That there is no separation of matter and consciousness. That everything in the universe is harmonic vibration, following the simple principles of whole-number harmonic generation
- That by tuning ourselves – through life’s experience, knowledge and meditation – we can feel more deeply into this field of harmonics – perceiving an 11th harmonic here, a 13th harmonic there – and connecting the subtle meanings of life
- That our minds are just fractal holograms of the divine Mind – each with its own perspective
- That our interaction with this field of vibration updates it – like musicians, both listening to and contributing to the music all around us, simultaneously
- That each of us is engaged in an ongoing dialogue with this consciousness – but our noisy, mechanistic, technology-filled culture leads us to ignore that voice – our own voice
- That the path to happiness, balance and harmony is to re-align with the harmonics of nature – the carrier-wave of nature’s voice
